Forty five years old - a turning point for blokes?
I just turned 52 and no different from when I was 22 and no, I'm not a miserable auld git.
What midlife crisis? I can afford all the musical instruments I've lusted after for years, any other indulgences that take my fancy since I can afford them now (think expensive hobbies). So why would I 'turn weird'?
Ah wait, no wife, no kids. Does that have a bearing on things? Life doesn't get much better than this.
