What do you normally cook on xmas day?

    Poll to follow
Due to spend Christmas day at my sister & brother in law's family, and been dropping hints that a goose would go down well this year for a change, and I'd chip in for a fair proportion possibly all of it.

But the general consensus is that goose is too "rich" (I suspect they mean "expensive"). So we'll be having turkey again, as usual.

      Turkey, gammon and beef.

Not sure what the rest of them are having.

3 bird roast and a big pork joint with loads of crackling, cooked for 6 hours. Mmmmmm!

Update, it was actually 4 bird roast, 2 chickens cooked beer can chicken style on the BBQ and the roast pork.

Beer can chicken involves the device shown (Device) and a can of beer up a chickens ar5e.

        Very tasty it was too.

It's the second year I have reared my own turkeys. This year I have 10, 8 of which i have sold. They taste so nice free range and organic. They also love apples, so I am interested on what this years bunch taste like as I have given them heaps of fallers.
