OK. So LOTR is three long books anyway. Fair enough 1 film each.Originally posted by sbakoola View PostIf you like LOTR Part 1 you'll like THE HOBBIT.. go see. Its long though .. about 2h40 mins or so.
Then The Hobbit is a much shorter book than any of the LOTR rings books but they still manage to screw it out into two films... Sounds like a bit of cleverness here....
Lucky they didn't get this idea with LOTR - they could have dragged that out for 3-4 films per book if they tried hard enough!Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

Hate 3D. Whats the point of it? (Apart from the fact that its not so easy to pirate and they get to add a few quid to the price for no apparent reason).Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostHobbit this sunday. No 3D, no high frame rate. But at least it will be in English. And Elvish.
Few quid extra to have to wear crappy glasses just for one or two moments where someone pops out of the screen. No thanks.
And my son (aged 9) usually gets a tit-full of the glasses after about 10 mins and ends up watching in blur-o-vision anyway.
2D every time for me.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment
