I was the same with the series Space 1999.

I've watched his show on and off through the years since the early 80's he'll be sadly missed. I saw him on tv a few days ago and he has essentially a 'helper' on the show The Sky At Night so he really wasn't the main presenter any more.

Me too. Even had an Eagle model. Loved the way everyone called each other by their first names on the show.

I think Barbara Bain and Landau were married IRL.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

              How sad.

By weird coincidence, I watched The Sky At Night last night for the first time in years.

A true character. Charming, intelligent and passionately knowledgeable about his subject.

Once we lose David Attenborough (only 3 years junior to Moore), modern television will finally have found the gutter it has been searching for.

How sad - a bit like John Peel, one of those unique characters that were always there.

With him goes a bit more of the BBC.

                    RIP
