Some EU countries are much more economically liberal than others, because some electorates want more liberalism than others, but also because some governments seem to ignore their electorates.

Anyway, I'm simply trying to play devil's advocate; I want to know how a UKIP government or UKIP/Conservative coalition would go about negotiating a good free trade deal for Britain, because I think the free trade point is the most important issue. So I want to know what they'd bring to the table to persuade the rest of Europe to sign the deal. At the moment you've offered a bunch of things the rest of Europe either already has, or doesn't necessarily want, so the hypothetical negotiation is a bit stuck.

Amongst all the austerity, politicians have remained untouched and IPSA is a joke. Just look as Helen Grant she was able to claim full expenses yet lived only 19 miles from the house of commons.

When we leave the EU we may start to get a few more votes in the Eurovision Song Contest.

I can't understand why national broadcasters contribute to that tulipe. The BBC could do everyone a service by pulling the funding.

FFS, you can't even make Europe a bit more crap, never mind bring anything to the table that improves matters.

Come on guys, I'm pretty neutral on these things and I think either the EU needs serious reform or it's time to work out a completely new deal, but I think it's a pretty essential question to ask what Britain will bring to the table when negotiating what we all really need and all signed up to, which is a free trade deal. I'd have hoped that UKIP supporters would have thought this through, but right now I haven't heard anything convincing.

Agreed, there's always talk of you should pay your fair share or more because you earn more/have more crap but when you see how it's being wasted what would you want to pay more.
