I'll be interested to see how Pep does, wherever he ends up.

Ballsy decision leaving Barca. I know I'm over simplifying, but how difficult can it be coaching those players?

It could be argued that changing the manager frequently has worked at Chelsea. They did it last year and the won the FA cup & CL.
The got rid of Jose, Carlo and still won trophies.

What they haven't had is the ability to dominate once they get to the top.

How many times has he incorrectly sacked a manager for him to correctly sack one?

IMHO, Mourinho is the best manager in the world, even if they did play boring football and win a lot of games 1-0, it is a results business and he did deliver

Agreed - you cant name yourself "The special one" and not deliver.

He's only been in 5 minutes it seems like. And didn't Chelsea have a blinding start to the season?

I never thought Chelsea wanted Di Matteo beyond the end of last season, even when they won the Champions League. They were bounced into appointing him.

So it should be no surprise they would get rid of him at the first opportunity, unless he did spectacularly well.

After a few defeats, dropping the owner's favourite player and losing was probably the trigger to, er, pull the trigger. Same sort of thing happened with Mourinho and Shevchenko.
