                    Morrisons used to do a good granary loaf, and sold it as a loss leader.

                    Hot granary loaf straight out of the ovens + good butter -> rush home to eat and not much butter left at the end.

                      Edit: Memories of doing an early morning French course in Paris. The cafe across the road from the language school did excellent toasted French bread with melted butter.
