    125mph as I mentioned earlier.

My first car was an Escort 1600 that I got up to 115mph on the M6 about 4am, bottled it, the steering was so light as to not be there at all.
    Me, me, me...

Anyway, in the end he got pissed off with other drivers slowing him down to 70mph, and sped up to about 95mph - which i matched behind him. WTF could he say/do?! He didn't have his blue lights on so technically he's breaking the law too
One of the fastest ways through Paris is behind an emergency ambulance (SAMU). I couldn't help but feel it was a rather dangerous pastime, so gave it up after a few tries.

A few years ago I was quietly doing an acceptable 10 Kph above the limit when an unmarked car in my rear view mirror suddenly sprouted a blue flashing light on its roof and started up its siren. No chance of pulling in because the traffic was dense, so I dropped a gears and put the pedal to the floor to get to the gap I could see ahead.

As they zoomed past the guy in the passenger seat acknowledged what I had done.

Excellent. When are you up in court for it?

Something I'm not particularly proud of, but an indicated 180mph on the M58 to Southport, 10pm at night, in a 600hp Nissan Skyline GTR. Felt like it was still pulling that was the scary thing !!

Seriously. If driving over 100mph is exciting for some of you - you really need to get a life.

I think you'll find driving over 100mph in Germany is simply called keeping up with traffic, not showing off. My 65yr old mother in law does over 100 on the autobahn and she moans at drivers who "speed":

Showing off is having a car that is either:

                      A) none german and high powered to do over 155mph
                      B) having an unlimited german automobile
