If Henry hadn't split from the Pope, we'd have even more bank holidays. But not, oddly, Good Friday.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Is that good or bad for GDP?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

I don't think so, but roasted Dormice were a popular snack with some Falarian wine.

Hot cross buns are definitely Christian though, look good but quite an unsatisfying mish mash when bitten into.

Do not try to remove the speck in your brother's eye when there is a plank in your own eye.

Presumably that was just the citizens, not the slaves.

Probably depended on whether you were a household slave or one of the poor buggers on the farms or in the mines.

Roman household slaves were generally well educated and well treated, many becoming freed and obtaining powerful positions at court. Many slaves bravely protected their masters during the proscriptions and many also turned them in. So it probably paid off to treat them well.

Slavery was a normal social condition in these times which even the Bible doesn't try to overturn.
