The Fuhu Nabi2 looks like the one to get, just need to find a retailer willing to ship from the US without bumping the cost up too much.
Yeah I read up on the Fuhu Nabi 2, but as you say US only

I have, for xmas (shhh). One was free, as it took me over the 2k mark, so I got my VAT back...

There's always the iPad mini which should be launched pretty soon if rumours are anything to go by

I wouldn't trust the kids with an iPad type device, needs to be child friendly, and child proof!

The kids have got on with it remarkably well. No damage too, just lots of effin games...

My son got an iPad 2 aged when was around 20 months. He hasn't broken it yet, though we do have a cover for it.

Seen my mate's 2yo bashing his iPad something proper. So far it's unscathed (both child and iPad)

Mine love the iPad, as I said, so much that I have bought them one each for Xmas. They're good tools and their schools do lots of work on them, and have recommended software for us to use.

Coming from a large family, I learned to value tulip from an early age, and my kids have been taught the same. I guess having girls makes it easier, as they just don't seem to be into breaking stuff apart, like boys do.
