When I went to junior school, we had a weekly lesson called handwriting, or some such.
we all had ink wells and we were taught Itallics, or calligraphy.

of course, being taught it at such a young age, it sticks.

So now I am the proud owner of a set of Itallic nibs, and when I send invitations/ birthday cards etc

I get the black ink out.

I even did a few sets of wedding invitations and place cards over the years.

It does take a LOT of time though
