127 hours - really enjoyed it at the cinema. The way they shot the pain with blasts of light and noise really had you feeling it.

Continuing the German theme - Downfall (Der Untergang) was fantastic...

Martha - about a female Chef, missus made me watch it, was very good - remade in Hollywood with Catherine Zeta Jones
Gegen Sie Wand - about the Turkish community in Hamburg.
Triumph of the Wills (Triumph des Willens) Leni Riefenstal Hitler propaganda movie - worth watch a even if you are not a nazi sympathiser.
Nosferatu the Vampyre - Kate Bush used the Gregorian Chanting music in her song can't remember on seminal Hounds Of Love. Another movie with Bruno Ganz in it.

Lola rennt is pretty amazing. The director's "the princess and the warrior" is very good too.
