We pay our Solution Consultant managers more than 200k

Just had a brief, pre-discussion over the phone with my boss. A little cagey affair where he effectively stated that if I do go perm & move to the US then it will be at Director level. (Basically I get the job of my mate who quit last month because he got burnt out). I'd be expected to be in the US fulltime in 9 months.

    Mmmm. Big committment.

Sounds like you're already part of the team. Welcome aboard! (Is it the love boat or the titanic? OR the Exxon Valdez?)

Don't forget visa issues. Assuming you'll be on an H1B which if I remember correctly means the employer has you by the nuts for five years...

And then if you become a US citizen you'll enter the Worldwide Income Taxation hell US Citz have....

Also, leave? Is it still 10 days the norm?

To make sure you avoid the UK taxman you need to ensure you sever all contact with the UK. That means no more posting on CUK.

I am sure RH you help you there.
