Nobody post the answer, i am determined to get this.

Does it matter how many dice are used?

Would it still work with 20 dice for example?

I think you read into things too much, you have got to admit this is the sort of puzzle where mathematical and analytical skills could send someone down the wrong path.

I wasn't comparing your mind with that of a child, anyone who knows the answer will know where I was coming from.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

            Code:
            A summary for those still playing;

            3	3	5	6	6	=	8
            2	2	3	6	6	=	2
            1	2	4	5	6	=	4
            1	1	2	3	4	=	2
            4	4	5	5	6	=	8
            2	3	3	4	6	=	4
            1	2	2	2	4	=	0
            1	2	3	4	5	=	6
            2	2	2	2	6	=	0
            1	4	4	5	6	=	4
            3	3	4	6	6	=	4
            2	3	3	4	5	=	8
            3	5	5	6	6	=	10
            1	1	2	3	4	=	2
            1	1	1	2	2	=	0
            2 3 3 6 6 = ?

I think the title of the puzzle is misleading. It isn't petals on a rose, it is petals on up to 5 roses. Each dice is potentially a rose, and you might have 5 of them.

We don't get to make up the rules.
