Avoiding the arguing and baiting, the original point is correct. A lot of the British do hate success, probably not people on here as we tend to be successful.
In America being successful people want to know how you did it, they aspire to be the same, they admire you.
In England, people will scratch your car for having a nicer one than they could ever get, or jealous that you have a nicer home than them. They dont have a can do attitude, they have an I cant so neither should you one.
This is clearly reflected in our taxation system where being successful is penalised, and those who cant be bothered to work think they have a right to others money.Comment

From there tis but a short hop to outbursts of stereotypical playground name calling, and steam coming out of his ears.

Enjoy your sh1t summer and trips up north to make your measly pound.
Why are you writing pages of bile? Are you nuts? I can barely spare you a few lines.
As for responding to you, it's because you like many others here, say you'd never do something, then do it, within the same breath. You're also very quick to slate england and suggest australia is such a lovely place. I am providing a counter view, and you don't like it.
That, and you fooked up your argument; it could be argued that you are defending, the indefensible, as it's up here in black and white what you posted.
You are a tard sir.
As for tulip summers, I was at my house in France in july and august and, I can assure you, it was better than Australia as I was actually able to go out all day long and enjoy it.Comment
