Why is it wrong? I don't find it wrong at all, never have. Fook me, I am a UTD fan and even I have to agree with Spod, we always hark back to the crash. **** me, it's 2012, people died, it's a tragedy, but it happens nearly every ******* day, in every country.

Move on. 40,000 fans travelled, heaps didn't have tickets, possibly hoping to scalp one, thought they'd lucked out in getting in for free, kept piling in with scant regard for their own. Then people died. A few people died in Surrey a couple of days ago as some fella fell asleep (I presume). tulip happens, move on.

If the investigation shows it was the police's fault, they are still dead. Same if it shows it was the fans fault. There are people dyng now, lets spend the money on them.

But it doesn't answer the fact gates/pens were locked ?
Ambulances not allowed in the ground ?
        Poor policing
        No safety cert
Allocating the smaller end when previusly l'pool had the larger end

Following LFC? Never going to happen.

I lost a kid btw, I mourn his death, I think of him every day not how he died.

Someone much brighter than me said something along the lines of one being a prisoner by not letting go...

is that supposed to be funny?

Wouldn't have happened at a Rugby match. Better behaved crowds.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

I was aiming for flippant, but as I can't stand LFC, or anything about them, feel free to take it however you want.

I'm a big LFC fan and I used to have hatred towards both Man U and Everton, however as I've got a bit older I don't see any need to have that level of bitterness and anger towards them.
I much prefer to have a bit of banter with them than despise them

Opening the gates was pretty much standard policing response to a crush situation at the turnstiles, seen it done a few times. The Liverpool fans orchestrated much of the initial situation to get a free in yet their actions are never questioned.
