The German speaking Daleks a few series ago were pretty funny. "Exterminieren". They couldn't invade Switzerland though - as soon as they tried to articulate Swiss German, their voice boxes exploded.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

I have a feeling I'm going to regret asking this question, but is that it for this series of Doctor Who? Five lousy episodes? The excuses for running out of material to make a full series are getting pretty thin. Last year it was apparently because it was impossible to shoot a Summer scene in the Spring. This year not only did they delay broadcast by six months, but they've only shown half a series. Does anybody know what the excuse was this time around?Comment

No the rest are after the christmas special. I'm not sure what the exact reason for the date changes are but they did relocate the cardiff TV studios last year,Originally posted by Gentile View PostI have a feeling I'm going to regret asking this question, but is that it for this series of Doctor Who? We have the xmas special with the introduction of the new companion (her from the Dalek episode) and then another 8 episodes for Series 7, giving us 14 episodes in all.
I would imagine we will finish series 7 on the fields of Trenzaloe, at the fall of the eleventh, when no living creature can speak falsely or fail to answer, a Question will be asked, a question that must never, ever be answered!!
Series 7 will finish with the Silence. What happens in General, stays in General. You know what they say about assumptions!Comment

I'll look out for the rest of the series next year. Meanwhile, if anyone's looking for a replacement for their Autumn Spooks fix, I recommend Hunted, which started this week. I thought it was going to be rubbish, but gave it ten minutes. Looks like it's going to be a great series.Comment
