I'm out with the girls tomorrow night, then probably recovering on Sunday. If last week is anything to go by, having a baby seriously impacted on my ability to drink vast quantities of cocktails

They do alot of stuff for charity - but I was quite upset. And I had real trouble getting anyone where i work now to sponsor me. First email I got 1 response! one! I had 26 sponsors from cuk FFS - quite a few of whom had never met me (maybe I was sponsored to not meet them.).

In the end I offered cake for sponsors and got another 6 - though I did get one very very large donation.

The fund raising has taken up alot of time in itself - I underestimated just how hard it would be. But I intend to do it again next year - just undecided if it will be for the double iron man or midnightman yet.
its tough because more and more folks doing this stuff

Maybe JPM should do a 5km swimming race!

Mind you that might stop all the drinking that goes on afterwards and seems to be the main purpose of that event.

I know a guy who does long distance charity walks. He says that the fund-raising is indeed a pain. And there are only so many times you can go back to the same well.

I'm afraid that I didn't sponsor you because you were raising money for your church, and that's not a cause I can get behind. Sorry
