You don't need a P45 and can use a P46 as you suggest. However, if you're working on a PAYE basis and you have one it'll help avoid you being placed on the emergency code, and thereby paying too much tax up front only to have to go through the hassle of claiming it back later on. -
Nope - I read the report, then re-read the OP, and decided it deserved to be in General. In the highly unlikely event this isn't a troll, they deserve to be kicked about for such appalling grammar & spelling alone.Originally posted by Gentile View Postwhomever shouts loudest and appears to have the majority of the mob behind them seems to be the person you guys listen to at the timeComment

Couldn't find any details of that. There were an awful lot of words in there, but they seemed to mean very little.Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostDid you read the whole post? Could you precise for me? Does she have a date with NF or not?
Oh, and to keep this on topic, before answering any questions from the OP regarding what they can and can't do, the Visa position needs to be ascertained. All other answers are conjecture and bluster until that is established.

aaahhhheeemmm. point of order Sir. Before asking anything else of OP we need to establish position on gladiators, bleeding radiators and sofa.Originally posted by TestMangler View PostCouldn't find any details of that. There were an awful lot of words in there, but they seemed to mean very little.

I think you're setting your expectations too high.Originally posted by Gentile View PostI. Although, for a person's first post, I'd personally still be inclined to give them the benefit of any doubt. I have a rule in life that I treat people with respect, until and unless they prove to me by their actions that they don't deserve it. Asking one (not very) naive question doesn't cross that threshold.
Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

What I did was ask a question. I realise you may still be a little raw from the widespread and justified criticism of your unfathomable decision to ban Clippy last week, but that's no reason to go jumping down anyone else's throat for asking a civil question.
HTH
If this was first posted in General, then it's more understandable that it could be identified as a trolling attempt. By the time I saw this thread, it had been moved from Business/Contracts into General, along with your statement, "I cordially introduce you to General". That was the only moderation comment in the thread at the time. So hopefully you can understand why I thought you had introduced it to General as opposed to merely undoing another moderator's decision.
As for undoing another moderator's decision merely because someone else complained about it, isn't complaining about moderation decisions on here usually referred to as "bed wetting"? I guess going back to NAT's comment that must mean that you guys don't moderate or make decisions on this forum either: whomever shouts loudest and appears to have the majority of the mob behind them seems to be the person you guys listen to at the time, even if it means undoing one of your peer's decisions.

You do know you're coming across as that common cliche: the frustrated spinster?
