    Does that mean if someone shows you how to do it properly, and you practice a lot over a period of time developing what some call 'muscle memory', you can get better at it?

      Did boxercise for a while, the trick to hard punching is speed+swing to put the whole body behind it. The hardest punchers there were both women.
