Also I dont think the level of music is as popular as the airplay time on radio 1 presents. R and B is not really popular outside of london but it gets over promotion on radio 1 as it is the music of the inner city london yoof.

I can't remember hearing R&B on R1 frequently since Destiny's Child disappeared! Maybe we have different definitions?
