Who cares what YOU think a sockie is? That's the same as telling a court "to me it's only murder if they don't deserve it".

I really don't understand why mods bother banning people when they are happy to let this happen. It just means more new users to validate, etc.

Actually I don't think this thread should be allowed because it's just confusing. But I DO think you should be banned - and then they should either ban your real username and stop you creating new ones, or just let you be and stop making jokes of their authority by making meaningless bans.

I have always apologised when I came back, the rules for bannings are not black and white (not that they could be as it's discretionary) and I have crossed the line sometimes. Now I think I have a good grasp of the boundaries and each mods tolerances and I intend to stay within them

How come you keep getting banned then.

The whole point of being banned is you apologise after the ban expires, not create a new user to do it.

Most of his bans are of the non-expiring variety.
