AA flat tyre - no spare

My car has a flat tyre (managed to get it home though). There is no spare wheel all you get is some pump thing with gel that apparently ruins the tyre. I am in the AA and was wondering of they will sort it out?

Put the foam in the tyre it doesn't ruin it. If you call the AA they'll just tell you to use the foam.

FWIW get one of these. I've got one and I've put a decent plug in many a tyre. You don't have to take it off. I've done 20,000 miles on the last plug I put in.

The AA have a phone number. It's quite novel... you can phone them and ask

No sure the foam stuff will be good to drive the 40 miles round trip to work? Better WFH and take it to a tyre shop.
