In fact you can use that to type in a Users Profile and it will do an analysis of what they've sold, the listing costs etc. Very good way to analyse a business and see when someone is telling porkies about how much they make.
Have you tried doing a Goofbay search on your own account to see how accurate it is ?

I tried it on mine a couple of years ago and the results were total bollocks. Might have improved since then i suppose.

I do believe he didn't declare it, although that's of course none of my business and I couldn't say for sure. I'm loving the irony of CUK's biggest Walt, with a self-professed talent for making £6k profit from a whole £30k turnover from "shops" (note: more than one shop), questioning somebody else's business model or veracity, though.

I do like the look of those special mops from JML though But the ones I like sell for something like £150 (even with the free 100-piece accessories kit including BBQ kit worth £19.95).

If you can do higher-price items then you could do more - I thought about this a few years back, with the idea of writing some software to find when a shop suddenly slashed the price on a Lost boxset; buy and sell before eBay noticed and then move onto the next thing. I did it manually once but was too busy to every try it out. Easy money though if you don't mind it too mind-numbingly boring!
BTW. Did you think this through? 73000 items per year.

Alternative - car-boot sale when you come to get rid of stuff

I sold a child bike seat that cost £35 and got £2.10. The person that bought it left a £10 note at our house - then asked us to post it so it cost us a stamp.

Perhaps more upsettingly we sold bundles of kids clothes for charity. I think we sold 4 bundles of clothes that would each cost £200 new. We got £5 each! For charity! ggrrrrrr. Too many people prepared to pay anything for kids stuff.

Bit off topic - but in reply to BrilloPad re childrens clothes

If people do have kids clothes - you can't beat a car boot sale for having a good clear out. Does mean an early start on the Sunday, and also a bit of prep work getting the stuff together.

We've had a good clear out at least once a year. Always come back to with > £300 (Ok not the best hourly rate if you are there for 4-5 hrs - but better in my pocket than in some charity bin)

But then again some of the stuff you think would literaly be snapped up - has ended up coming back with us, and then gone to the tip (charity shop didn't want them) Books are a waste of time at car boot sales .......
