Thanks. Am in a bit of a bind for move to Ireland. My experience is entirely healthcare and government cuts have left the Irish healtrh service (and private sector not much better) a desert. So I need to find a healthcare I.T. company. My skill-set is around PM and business change, so not so easily transferrable as a techie.

The successful candidate will possess 4+ years experience as a Technical Team Lead in an Oracle environment with a strong development background prior to that.
Experience/Knowledge (if any)
• 3-5yrs+ experience as a technical team lead working with the design, development &; strategy of the development project

Lots of start-up in Dublin, lots of funding from VC.
Existing companies have a lot of work, things that were in the pipeline now have funding.
But like the city, if you don't have a good match on skill-set they will not talk to you.
Also be prepared to do some kind of on-line or phone teck interview before the phone interview.

Education leavers and workers from throw construction industry are leaving in depressing numbers. Certain industries are doing well.

True... but the exchange rate is not so great at the moment (compared to the same time last year). Still, if it's where the work is and the rate is acceptable then it's probably worthwhile going for.

Its a cycle that's been happening for years, though the economy will take some time to pick up after the celtic tiger debacle, but it will get there eventually.

Every 20 years it seems there is a huge dip in the economy followed by a lot of emigration, followed by a gradual pick up.

It's legit all right - even if getting off to a slow start. It's a big international client.
