Not really, but use the hotel's if necessary.

Not after she's ironed your face a few times.

Aldi carrier bags, the answer to every travelling person's luggage needs and they come in a variety of flavours:

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

I used to go for that view, but recently have gone for quality shirts over 3 for £15 from Tesco's and the difference is phenomenal.

I really like that idea. Either use the hotel service or find a local small business who do it for 1/4 the price; we have a place here that charged us £8 to iron something like 20 items.

Get at least one non-iron shirt - use this on Monday

Learn to fold your shirts properly

DO NOT fold your shirts staight after ironing, let them cool down first

make sure your shirts are packed for as short a time as possible

Do not over pack your suitcase

Hang your shirts up as soon as you get to your destination

If you've packed and folded your shirts properly, any creases will fall out within an hour of wearing

I tried the travel iron bit when I wasn't returning home every weekend.

I blew the circuit breaker for the hotel room lights and couldn't find where it was.

That was an unexpected retreat to the bar for the evening.

Result though. I quickly worked out it was cheaper to use the hotel laundry than spend a whole evening in the bar.

A landlady taught me how to iron shirts ready for folding, sort of how they come out of the packet but without the creases.

For long stays I have used a combination of service washes interspersed with proper hotel laundry in a ratio of something like 3 to 1. Smart casual shirts will look OK after a service wash from just hanging up, but you need the hotel laundry to refresh the creases on the collar every now and again.

                    Try Sainsbury's.
