Outsource him. Get some kid from Hyderabad to do his job for 10 rupees a day. Oh no sorry, wrong bank. Oh no sorry, they're all the same anyway.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

If banks want to save money why would not they move their head offices up north?

It's hard enough to get "top talent" to work for a few million pounds without expecting them to live in grim Northern cities with no decent titty bars as well.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

People do 12 hour hard shifts on an offshore platform in the middle of the sea for less

Would 'mediocre talent' have made quite such a balls up as ' top talent'?

Depends what talent top banker is looking for.

If he just needs reliable people who will make sure the bank keeps working because that's how they will keep their relatively well paid jobs (3-4 times national average), that's one thing - bank will be reliable but probably not super profitable.

If the top banker wants super profitable bank then he'd look for greedy people who'd do anything to make profit for bank.

The option in bold sounds like quite a good idea.

Is no-one else thinking - buying opportunity. Itching to kick some cash at this short-term blip.
Oh yeah, morally outraged too of course...
