It's all so predictable:
Rooney will have a belter of a game scoring a brace and sending England to the quarters.
The press will go mad and start talking of winning the Euro.
In the quarter-final, Rooney will miss a penalty, get into a strop and be sent off for a pointless bit of petulance.
England will come home to the inevitable analysis of what went wrong this time.
Woy will be kept in till the next fiasco, when some other (English as opposed to foreign) numpty will take over and lead England to more mediocrity, while trousering a big wedge.Hard Brexit now!

Face it, England are crap at football. British sportspeople are at the top of the world in;
- rugby
- cycling
- athletics
- rowing
- swimming
- cricket, sometimes
- probably several other things I haven't named
Ignore the footy players and pick some winners for once.And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

Anyway, I thought that bloke was the bus driver.
That 'bus driver' makes more in a week than you make in a couple of years.Comment
