          WE always sleep with fans on as well to block out all other noise. Kids can suffer the noise - tough luck.

            I keep getting stuck with three granddaughters (2 of whom are noisy and the oldest communicates with grunts, sarcastic stares and the occasional "Whatever")

            Can't sleep with the aircon on but I do put the ceiling fan on
