time as Greece is reaching a point of no return.
Just picked up the first of my old companies clients (and the one I want) so I can sit back and relax. My core income is now 100% secure for the next 5 years.merely at clientco for the entertainment -
Just of out curiosity and humour, what exactly do you think will happen? realistically I mean, not some Hollywood movie version.

Greece cannot pay its debts and is forced out of Euro in second half of 2012. Immediate chaos - but they soon pick up the pieces and by 1st half of 2013 life is much better for them. Then other PIIGS wonder what the hell they are doing and also leave. Northern block prints money to get out of the hole and inflation soars.Originally posted by chef View PostJust of out curiosity and humour, what exactly do you think will happen? realistically I mean, not some Hollywood movie version.

The citizens who moved their money out of Euros do very nicely. And by 2015 we can get back to "normality".
This, of course, is quite an optimistic scenario. Do you want the doomsday alernative?Comment

Greeks vote in new anti Austerity Government. Greeks refuse to listen to Germany and a Mexican standoff ensues. Spanish and Portuguese, gettign a sniff Germany will cave in, also start getting uppetty. Germany meets with France, Netherlands, and a few others and agree to start issuing eurobonds, which effectively centralise all Euro debt, Germans get uppetty, Euro however saved.
I think look at the Banks being too big to fail, then magnify this by a million, and you have the euro; it's now an ideology of European governments. The Euro will be around for a long time, but it's going to be a pain for a few years, especially for the Germans who'll have to start operating on a more level basis.Comment

Support agreement on specialist software. Ex company has no one who know the software and have demonstrated it yesterday by knocking it permanently offline. The end client suggested asking me to help but ex company refused so end client are now binning them claiming breach of contract and using eek ltd instead.Originally posted by AtW View PostAre you going to prison?
