You Englanders have played a blinder giving Hodgson the job. An absolute top rate manager with proven abilty at the level you want to be at. You will get to the semi finals at least under him, just a question of when you meet the other big nations and now the players deal with the situation. Spain will roll you over but I doubt Germany will roll you over this time.

And I can say I called Dalgleish out for being an idiot on this forum last year, much to the scoffing from the back of the bus as Liverpool went on a wee run of form. Got that one right.

Maybe or maybe not. We'll see. IMHO the only high profile club he has ever managed was Inter Milan from 1995 to 1997. They had a top team with Roberto Carlos, Paul Ince, Javier Zanetti and Youri Djorkaeff, but he only managed to get Inter to 3rd place.

They should have given the job to Psycho, at least he knows the players well and gets their respect. At the national level the manager is more like a big brother than a boss, this is why Capello failed despite being a world class manager.

PS: does anybody remembers this goal:
<Insert idea here> will never be adopted because the politicians are in the pockets of the banks!
