Yes - indeed, it was your use of the word as if feminists are all looney man-haters that prompted my post. It's only a dirty word if people use it as such.

I think we all believe in equal pay, no discrimination just because of gender and fair treatment. I certainly believe in that equality and will make sure I speak up so it is met if I ever see it isn't.

Didn't Churchill/Spod get a severe kicking/boll0cking for using an abbreviation of the word Pakistani?
I am pretty sure the consensus was that it was racist despite his protestations that he had no racist intent when using it.
