A small amount of and insults is entirely permissible. What you were picked up on was continual and insults. If you get banned, it'll be for that. You seem also to be unable to understand the fairly obvious difference between the two - hmm... more confusion. I think we're getting a pattern here.

      well - that's pretty conclusive.

So to describe the maz mathematically, would be A----B----C

But as it doesnt matter what way you turn at B, it isn't a node, so logically, it is A---C

But, of course, I am the dunce...
I hate to contradict you but I am the dunce with this one.

When I looked at this earlier, I didn't see the little teeny gap in the middle block and so said the left handy thing would work. Of course, with the gap, then it is no longer simply-connected and is in fact multiply-connected and so trying to find your way out from the middle would result in you circling around both inside and outside of the central island.

          Eh?

There are two gaps one the exit to the inner, and one the exit to the outer.

In maths, this would be described as I have i.e. A being the start, C the end, and B the decision point.

          Thus A---B---C

However, there is no decision to be made, as they both get to C, so mathematically, it is discounted, so it becomes A---C so a straight line, mathematically, and logically.

For those who have some grasp on mathematics beyond counting to ten (or twenty if shoes and socks off), topologically speaking all simply-connected mazes are identical. That is, they can be continuously transformed into each other.

So, mathematically, "a room" and are the same thing.

When it comes to algorithms for solving mazes, only simply-connected mazes can be solved by the left-hand rule. There are more complicated rules that work for any maze.

Well done love, this is a maze, both logically and mathematically and not a straight line. Maybe you are cut out for a life in IT after all, maybe I have been too harsh.

However, I am glad you've seen the folly of your earlier attempts, for that wasn't a maze. This is though, you see. Do you wish to see it spread out as a network which proves it a mathematical maze, or are you bright enough to see why yet?

if youse guys took the effort to read my original post, you will see I specifically mentioned simply connected mazes. sheeesh
