10 years ago I made £450 for 30 minutes on site

Shortest one I did was in Singapore.

I built a big app and rolled it out around the UK for a pharma, then Singapore wanted it. The installation time was about 3 hours average, but they didnt want to take any risks

So I had two weeks all expenses lazing around in the sun doin 'jug jugs' of tiger beer

You didn't have a coffee and go on a tour of the office to check out the totty? You are giving us contractors a bad name!!

It was a new site so no coffee or tottie

My shortest was a day installing a computer for the chairman of a biggish company.

Not strictly a one off contract but I wrote a data conversion app for a company and they got me to run it on a regular basis as they converted data for new customers from competitor's systems into their database.

Fixed rate £1500 a time, once I had done a few I had it off to a tee and the best was 1.25 hours.

Not guilty at all as I know they were charging the client £3k for the conversion on top of the not so small cost of the systems they were selling.

Not done any for a couple of years now, but was good while it lasted.
