This one depends which airport you are in, but I have on occasion tried to assess which guys are assassins.

Due to over booking (again) Delta were offering to anyone prepared to vacate their seats
        • $400 per person
        • Free overnight 5* accommodation in a New York hotel
        • Free business class upgrade on the flight out the next morning

Which seemed a pretty good deal as I've never been to NY except to transit, there were three in the party $1200 which would cover my lost day rate but couldn't really be arsed for another day in USA

What would the esteemed panel do?
How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

What does $400 get you in terms of company in NY?

I travelled alot last year and it always wound me up trying to go through security. There are signs, a taped recording and then the fact everyone else in front of you is taking off their belts, coats, getting laptops out etc and still they stand there totally unprepared having to be asked everything by the guy and STILL end up with a bag full of over sized liquids, walking through with a belt on or change in their pockets.

It is like people pack everything but forget their common sense.

Yep, really winds me up when some numpties delay everyone going through security. Luton airport was the worst, they only seemed to have 2 security channels open and huge queues.

If people are standing in a loose group, three of four deep back from the carousel, and you see your case, you can easily walk forward and grab it.

If everyone is standing right at the carousel, and you've got families where everyone has to be at the belt, you have to tell the sheeple to get out of the way, and then when you get your case, you've got no freaking room.

I can only guess you've either a private jet, or you've never actually flown with baggage. You don't "stand in line".
