What I never understood was why NF got so little +ve rep in the old system? It is a computer forum and his technical posts are amazing.

The algorithm was years on site + posts / 1000 + rep /1000 (although that last bit was initially /100 which caused massive rep inflation).

Personally I would have just switched rep off (then again I've a new contract and I'm busy at the moment so I may be slightly biased).

Can I suggest that the resultant rep should be divided by the post count (perhaps starting from today), since it's easier to get a lot of rep if you make 100 posts per day, whereas surely it's quality that counts rather than quantity?

Rep points reset for all users and all old rep deleted. If you leave rep for other forum users now it should show up in their control panel without the need for plugins or scripts so be careful what you say

What would be nice, is somewhere to see what rep you've given out. I do most of my repping after a glass or two of vino when I temporarily love all of CUK, and can never remember who I repped for what.
