How many more turns will this story take?

Story is definitely the right word.

Negotiating on US offer tomorrow. Have been asked to be ready to arrive on site in California next Monday if we agree terms. Next couple of days going to be interesting.

i always thought that you were better off with uk contractor rates as it was more tax efficient compared to take home of a usa permy.

I thought MF had >=£400GBP roles coming out of his ears
(or is that a rse) whenever he wanted them

am i missing something about this USA stuff?
and how are you handling a visa , i heard they dont want foreign workers any more and bizarrely are trying to make sure their own citizens get work first

Supposed to start next Friday in London hub office on a new contract. Then off to US for 3 weeks initially, then back and forth between London, Europe & US for the foreseeable.

Initial offer is a contract £100 a day more than I get presently to include all expenses outside of London. Direct with client.

Previous PM 'No way to run a project' had left a message on my voicemail to say the project may start next week or the following and was I available because it was critical I was on it & did they need to do something to ensure I was still around so to mitigate risk. I finished last week. (shakes head in disbelief).

This contracting lark is a doddle.

£100 a day more including all expenses? Don't you mean excluding expenses except for London?

                      No. I think I'm right.....

                      Anyway, they're paying for everything.

                      It's contract to Perm anyway.
