I'm thinking that with budgets squeezed there will be very few people taking driving holidays this year. I'm betting that more will fly abroad than stay in the UK. Especially witht the Olympics in town and the chaos...could be a dry summer for theme parks, resorts and hotels in the UK. Some are saying that the high fuel cots is affecting mobility for job seekers.
I've been speaking with the neighbours and a few have gone down to one car. I've just put the wife's car up for sale. we've gone down to only essential driving.
It seems to me that the conservatives are doing exactly the opposite of what economic theory tells them..splurge massively at the start of a recession to get out quicker. This austerity bollux will only drag it out for another five years, if we are lucky.McCoy: "Medical men are trained in logic."
Spock: "Trained? Judging from you, I would have guessed it was trial and error."Comment

Oh no dear. That item is just your scat surcharge. There's nothing like that on the bill of a nice clean gent like Mr. P, who's just looking for a bit of post-coital spooning to keep the loneliness at bay.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostBut then your weekly rent boy is going to put his costs up for travelling to see you.Comment

Too right, brother. I've just claimed ~£1,200 this year for cycling mileage.Originally posted by MarillionFan View PostCycled to work 3 times this week.
Still charged for the mileage though. :-)If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.Comment
