The Royal Marines fall back to government house. One of the Amtracs is scarred by machine gun fire, and there is one minor injury.

I have a friend who is an Argentinian and we have argued long and hard and over who owns the Kalkland Islands. Anyway we have done a deal . I get East Falkland and he gets West Falkland (fewer people to whinge about Argentinian control).

He then admits that Argentina could not attack the Falklands as its one and only Aircraft carrier is stuck in port. Apparently they cant afford the Diesel needed to get it going

Now, factor in that in the original conflict, we had the covert support of the US (who supplied us with sidewinder missiles we couldn't afford and a stepping stone in the Ascension islands), which we simply wouldn't have now. You have a mess.

As for highly training troops, being ready for all affairs, and were secretly hoping the Russions came over for a fight when you were all locked into Germany, please don't make me laugh. All they have to do on the Falklands, is drink, shag sheep and each other and sooner or later, the drink runs out.

Jesus, they could put a send in a commercial airline with 300 troops on board who could take the airport and disable it. There are so many ways they could stop the typhoons from operating.
