If you seriously imagine there is any comparison between German WWII paratroopers and their modern day Argentinian equivalent, I can only assume you are getting military advice from someone as clueless as Zoidercock.

After Crete, Adolf was distraught. Losses amongst the fallshirmjagers were so high that he never allowed a large scale drop again. The Germans , at that time, were just not used to heavy losses.

The casualty figures also dont include 5,000 italians who were being shipped in just as the allies were leaving, they were sunk in troopships and drowned

Just to put it in perspective, pro rata, the German fallshirmjagers at Crete lost nearly three times more than the Brits at Arnhem (although the brits had 6.5k captured)

This scenario is rolled out quite regularly. I'm pretty sure the garrison has got more than a couple of plans to deal with it.

Regardless, if they did invade, we've got sub launched Tomahawk now so they'd lose a couple of airports on Tierra del Fuego sharpish, followed by their c&c, followed by the UN telling them to **** off out of it before they lose another 1000 men.
