Food to eat the night before an operation

You need to eat healthily and not eat any food that will give you indigestion. If you suffer from indigestion, tell the anaesthetist as he may have to give you a pill to prevent it as it can choke you under general.

I'd eat spaghetti - try not to chew it though, so if you do choke on it during the op, at least the anaesthetist can pull it out of your throat and lungs easily.
