Yep within a minute he had a team around him, so most he would have went was a minute, hopefully enough to avoid brain damage.

Did his collapse come on out of the blue or was he looking unwell for some minutes beforehand?

Not sure, but from what I have heard it was all very sudden. As others have said, if he was getting CPR within a minute then he has a real chance of a complete recovery hopefully. Fingers and everything else crossed.

The fact he's still with us is encouraging. All the best to him.

Some rumours from my bro's insider at the club, take them at face value:

            1. Fab's condition is described as 'needing a miracle'

            2. Wanderers are asking to forfeit the tie vs Spurs.

First one, who can say, second one, bit daft to me, Liverpool-style pity-us outpouring. But that plus postponing the Villa match on Tue cynical me is saying that's to garner time make the team feel guilty and fight to stay up!

Was watching the match on ESPN when this happened on Saturday.

Very shocking, only 23, super fit I would presume, but then maybe not.

Puts some context to life, eat, drink and be merry for tomorrow you may die.

                1. I hope this is wrong but miracles do happen.
                2. This is being insinuated on the BBC Sport website. Surely they should continue in the competition and donate the gate receipts to a fund for his family? I'm sure Spurs would be up for it.

Is there really no footage of the collapse itself? I thought I heard that was the case, but in this day of TV coverage I thought they had a camera on every player on premium channels?

Why on earth would you want to see it? I am sure there is some footage out there but most broadcasters have the decency not to release it

No sure watching a young man having a heart attack is something I would want to see.
