Either:
A bunch of dodgy tax dodgers used a perverse interpretation of a tax law to set up a scheme that meant they paid fook all tax and then all cried when they got caught and squealed like stuck pigs when the tax bill was back dated to when they started the scheme.
Or:
A legitimate group of business men set up their tax affairs in accordance with the rules of the day and were then wrongly deemed to be avoiding tax when the rules were interpreted in a different way and their human rights were ignored when the government illegally made the tax retrospective.Just saying like.
where there's chaos, there's cash !
I could agree with you, but then we would both be wrong!

What are you all going to do when to refill the Governments coffers HMRC decide that we've all been paying too little tax, decide to retrospectively change the tax rates and send us all a demand?
The doors are now open for them to do this.
