I wonder what the yield is. The problem with Florida is that it is so vast and it's pretty much all flat land so property prices won't tend to move up much in most areas.

I suspect that the property tax or some such thing that you have to pay to the govt every year is very huge. Also, in Florida the property prices did reach rock bottom. Still not as bad as Detroit.
