In this case it does not matter because money isn't a product and regulated differently - UK can stay out of eurozone and pretend UK transaction tax (AKA stamp duty) isn't used on financial trades, however it can't really tell ECB where to clear funds when it's not member of the eurozone in the first place. ECB rules only concern members of the eurozone - they can't make UK accept 500 euros in retail and equally UK should have no say in how euro currency works.Comment
