            The most telling part of that story (to me at least) is the politician being more willing to spend millions of pounds of tax payers money than to admit to being wrong.
            Just saying like.

              Aid to India = Bribe to buy UK goods
              Bribe or aid from UK is an indirect state subsidy to UK weapons manufactures.
              India takes bribes but buys French = UK unhappy
