    A doddle.
Thanks for that. His present for his second birthday will be a painting set....

Is he Bfing ? Because despite all the warnings I got, so far my little one has maintained a pattern of sleeping through the night apart from waking up a couple of times for a snack. It's such a relief.

He is 4 years old. The outward intelligence of a one year old in the body of a seven year old. Great.
Calling your own child who is autistic as "stupid" ?? Seems to me that she is tired of taking care of him, which isnt a good situation.
I dont know much about Autistic children but do they not behave normally? It's Down's syndrome which stops mental growth I think which can be really hard work to take care of. I know a relative who has a child with Down's and its brings tears to my eyes looking at the kid. They dont deserve it and I just wish medical science progresses so these things can be treated or at least prevented.

Or maybe you're reading too much into the off hand comment.

Ever thought about being a social worker? Or maybe you can join Wilmslow at Childline, now there's a ******* scandal just waiting to break!

Every autistic case is different. And what exactly is normal anyway?

Baby BP is very difficult. Mrs BP does an amazing job looking after him. No-one else would do as well as she does - not even me.

But then what sort of comments do I expect from CUK? At least you can admit you don't know much - unlike some posters round here.

And another thing. Last Sunday we went to church. Mrs BP took baby BP into the children's section - against my advice as she suffers from embarrassment. baby BP was at his worst ever. Mrs BP starts getting glares from other parents. I complained to the persion in charge of children's section - after all baby BP cannot help it.

Why are there so few Christians in church?

We've always been lucky that the vicar(s) in our parish(es) have always been of the opinion that they would rather have noisy children in church than have no children in church at all.

My sister no longer comes if we are taking my autistic nephew as well, because she worries too much about what other people think, which is a shame.

Generally, there's none so hypocritical than someone who claims to be religious. You only have to look at some of the hatred spread by the "Christian" right in America as a starting point.

Tat is the worst thing I find. My sone, besides being blind looks pretty normal, but he can explode and the looks we get from other people. If he'd been in a wheelchair and wearing a padded hat then they would expect his behaviour. But because he looks normal he's expected to act in a normal way
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

                  I preferred version 1!

Indeed. Mrs BP saw a kid at legoland with a t-shirt saying "I am okay - just autistic". She jokingly talked about getting one for baby BP! I hope she won't though - it is other people's problem and not his.
