I wouldn't worry about it, the loss is only temporary for the HM government as their coffers are currently being charged up. HMRC have reported record collections for self assessment this year.

Who cares? The Honours system is a joke. In this years honours a tory supporter who got millions for sorting out Northern Rock got an honour. Was that for "Services to Banking" as well? Its a farce.
