For all of Labours faults (and the Conservatives for that matter) they do not encourage thugs to maim people. They are not populated with members with criminal records for violence, theft and rape.
They are not connected to a terrorist organisation (combat 18).
They do not have a mandatory disgust of other races and all that is foreign.

You don't need proof, it's enough for someone to run round screeching "they're bad people they're evil, they're not like us".
I don't know anyone who is in the bnp (at least that I know of) but I suspect they don't suffer from the stupid and self-destructive angst that the trendies seem to, so they're probably a bit saner than the trendies (note that I didn't say they were sane, only more sane than others, that in no way constitutes advice to join the bnp, just before you misinterpret, baggie.)

It's well documented that the deputy prime minister should have been charged with assault, tony blair may yet be prosecuted for selling peerages, jowell, blunkett, mandelson, just because they haven't been charged doesn't mean they are innocent of any crime.
Sinn fein and the ira, well oddly enough sinn fein have some parliamentary presence do they not, so it seems that connections to criminal organisations is no bar to election.
Obviously the bnp are a racist organisation, that's not really disputed. Where we seem to differ is that I believe that racists should be represented to the extent that they make up a proportion of the population.
