    It's grim everywhere :-)

When your money is paper, in a bank that no longer exists, and your gold is good for filling teeth with, and nothing else, what will we do?

      OK...Question for you all.

How will we prop the banks up the next time?

I din't I won't and shall not pay UK taxes again until the desolation is over.

Me, Lewis Hamilton and others agree only little people prop up banks.

Well, perhaps you can help me here. but I'm not aware of a country ever going from capitalism to communism.

Communism has always come about as a revolution against the excesses of serfdom and feudalism.

I think that (as we were simply not brought up in the communist 'way') we would have to pass through serfdom first, and then rebel against it.

Is there enough cultivatable land in the UK for 60 million people to be employed to tend it?

I am an Engineer. I will be totally redundant in a country without advanced technology, where food is the only currency, and starvation is the equivalent of 'the dole'. How about you?

Communism is a necessary evolutionary step. Normally it's communism followed by capitalsm. I do hope that the collapse of capitalism doesn't take as back round to feudalism.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to KimberleyChris again.
